Did you find that your general contractor, generally speaking, stayed true to his/her word and promises regarding timelines, updates, etc.
Do you feel your contractor did everything in their power to move things along efficiently with minimal prompting from your end?
Were you pleased with the clarity and frequency of your general contractor's updates?
Did the cost of your project stay within the projections in your contractor's bid? If not, what steps did your contractor take to mitigate costs so as to maintain a close to accurate original bid?
Were there any change-orders? And if so, were they prompted by yourself, or the contractor? If by the contractor, did they result in a significant increase in cost?
How often was your general contractor onsite?
How effective was your general contractor in keeping your site clean and clear of debris?
Were there any disputes or conflicts during the construction process? And, if so, how well do you feel your contractor managed to handle and resolve the disputes?
